Golden Palace Buffet: Delicious Chinese Food, Szechwan, Hunan & Cantonese Style Cuisine 3607 Forbes Avenue (between Atwood and Meyran) Part of what makes Oakland so great is it's diversity. The Golden Palalce Buffet offers a wide variety of more than 22 Chinese dishes each day at its buffet. In addition to the buffet, Golden Palace offers over 50 different dishes for take out or eat in. Dishes range from General Tso's Chicken or Fish Congee to Shrimp Egg Foo Young or Roast Duck. Golden Palace's Buffet is "all you can eat" and very reasonably priced. The lunch buffet is $6.25 and runs from 11:00 am -- 3:30 pm. The dinner buffet is $7.25 and runs from 3:30 pm -- 9:30 pm. Golden Palace also offers a take-out buffet option where customers pay $4.25 per pound. Golden Palace is open Monday through Saturday, 11:00 am -- 9:30 pm and on Sundays from 12:00 pm -- 9:00 pm.
