Request for Proposal Update

The Oakland and North Side communities are collaborating together to implement a comprehensive smart street system in Pittsburgh to include the Innovation Oakland project.  With funding provided by the Allegheny County Community and Infrastructure Tourism Fund, the OBID and partner North Side Cultural Collaborative are seeking well-qualified design and technology teams to carry out the next stage of the project to finalize the projects Masterplan and preliminary design.

The OBID has issues a Request for Proposal to a short list of sixteen teams including local, national and international firms.  These teams were selected as part of an RFQ process completed in 2010.  The deadline to respond to the RFP is March 1, 2011.  More details coming soon!
