Join the University of Pittsburgh as they take the 2007 challenge walk www.pitt.edu. Walking is a great way to see Oakland’s finest architectural and artistic gems. Take your own tour of Oakland’s various public art projects www.publicartpittsburgh.org or for a guided tour join the Pittsburgh History and Landmark’s Foundation as part of their Oakland Walking Tours www.phlf.org/events/index.html. Walk the beautiful campuses of Carlow University, Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh. During lunch break or after work, walk to the many attractions including the Cathedral of Learning Nationality Rooms, The Carnegie Museums of Art and Natural History and the Regina Miller Gallery.
